Once connected to the hull of e.g. a trawler, the drone can then travel thousands of miles to the port of destination. While driving, all systems except the measuring systems are switched off. These constantly measure whether chemicals or toxins have been discharged into the sea and record this to the next coast guard. Capping of oil and lubricant can also be detected.
